What is Plaid : It is a checkered or tartan twilled cloth, typically made of wool often primitively associated with lumberjacks, Scotsmen, and farmers. This years Fashion week in New York and Toronto saw a great use of plaid by various designers like Vera Wang,Kenneth Cole,Victoria Beckham,Rodarte or Thakoon. How do you wear it : Plaid like houndstooth is one of the most versatile patterns and looks good both on men and women.It can be used in sweater,pants,overcoat,dresses,etc.Since plaid is a dominant pattern, it is best to pair it with neutral colors and minimal make up. What’s trending : Plaid flannel shirts.Flannel shirts were super popular way back in the 90’s but with this years Fashion week,they are back with a bang.Flannel shirts looks great with denims ( jeans , skirts,shorts) or even fitted knee length skirts.
