Valentine’s Day is around the corner and if you are anything like me – always finding it hard to figure out what to gift your busband/bf, I am sure this post is going to be super helpful.
So a couple of weeks ago, I started to list out things that would be a good gift for my husband, Kaushik. In fact, I even posted an Instagram story asking for ideas.

One of the biggest challenges my husband faces when buying off-the-rack shirts, is the sizing. He is tall, slim on the waist but pretty buff on the shoulders. So off the rack shirts are either loose on the body but tight on the shoulders or vice-versa. Since I could enter custom measurements here, I didn’t have to worry about the fit.
Pro Tip: If you guys don’t know your husband’s size, use Original Stitch style guide along with an already owned shirt that fits your husband as a reference for measurement. This should help you figure out his ideal measurements.

When you go to their site, you’ll see that you can customize their shirts in a variety of ways, right from shirt type, shirt color, their collar to cuffs to even the plackets. I was totally spoilt for choice. It felt like Christmas shopping all over again.
I decided to go for a pink shirt since it’s a Valentine’s day gift and Kaushik loves soft pinks for his wardrobe. To give it an extra edge, I choose a floral inner placket and inner collar.
To make it more personal, I added Kaushik’s monogram to the shirt ” KN”, a feature I loved the most about Original Stitch. Adding a monogram, makes the gift so much more special.
