As an image and style consultant, I meet many clients and receive many messages which are related to wardrobe and personal style. The biggest question I find people asking me is ” I have clothes but I never know what to wear”.
Recently I was introduced to this app called “Stuff N Style” which solves this “every girl’s” problem to a large extent. Many of us are constantly taking pictures and sending it to our friends and family asking them if we should buy a particular dress or if an outfit looks good on us or not. This app addresses these issues under one roof.
What does ‘ Stuff N Style ‘ do ? – Basically with this app you can upload all your items from your wardrobe and create your personal virtual wardrobe. You can then add in your body type and style preferences. Once that is done, you can request outfit suggestions for an event or even for a look in general. The app has some amazing stylists who will respond to your requests and give you in-depth suggestion by putting together looks from your very own wardrobe and giving you style solutions through notes. If you don’t want to be limited to your wardrobe you can mention that and your virtual personal stylist cans suggest outfits which you can shop for. You also have the ‘calendar’ feature where you can set looks according to the dates you will be wearing them. Imagine being able to have and organize your own wardrobe capsules.
Not only this, but you can also view other people’s closet and style requests for fashion inspiration. Basically, ‘Stuff N Style’ is your very own personal mobile stylist and closet organizer on the go.
The only little thing I wish the app would add is more options to select clothes which are not in your wardrobe to create looks. This could be similar to polyvore where you can instantly choose items or search for them with keywords. This could make the filter process much easier.
Apart from that, it is a great app to help you mix and match outfits when you are running out of ideas. Not only can this help you save money from shopping but also help you dig out and wear clothes that you perhaps had forgotten about. I will be personally using it for some major style inspiration.
Oh and did I mention that you can share your looks and outfits with friends via e-mail, iMessage, Facebook or Twitter. So next time you ask yourself, “What do I wear” just open this app and get the solution right away. Isn’t it so cool.
