The Cape Effect - Social Nupur

For those of you who know me, know I adore capes. Cape top, cape dresses, cape jackets, you name it. I pretty much don’t care if cape is in trend or not, I have them nicely stacked in my go-to outfits.

When styling capes, since they are flowy, I like to pair them with something skinny at the bottom. So cape tops and blazers will be paired with high waist jeans or leggings and cape dresses with stilettos.

I bought this cape on Boohoo and it fit so well. The only issue is that it takes some time to figure out how to wear it since it is not just a slip-in kind of top. You have to put your hands in the right spaces to see the effect of the cape. The cape is no longer available in black but you have the wine version of it which is equally stunning.

I paired the cape with a V-neck fringe silver necklace, black high waist jeans and black boots to wear to a bloggers event.
