🌟 #Storytime: This weekend, Kaushik and I took a quick time off, leaving behind our precious Nishka for the very first time. The excitement and anxiety were overwhelming, but deep down, we knew it was needed.

But guess what? We weren’t alone on this journey! Our superhero nanny (more like family than a nanny), along with my amazing parents and sister, held the fort and provided unwavering support while we took this much-needed break. Can I get a big shoutout for them? 🙌 And of course, a special thanks to the heavens above for inventing baby monitors!

Here’s the thing, my fellow moms and parents: it’s crucial to take those breaks and seek help when possible. I vividly recall a time when we hired a doula after Nishka was born, and someone questioned, “Why do you need a doula when you’re already the mother?” Well, that’s when Kaushik stepped in and beautifully explained the significance of “happy mama, happy baby.”

After giving birth, the focus tends to shift towards the baby (which is natural since they require immense care and love). However, let’s not forget the immense challenges moms face, especially during the post-delivery phase. They too deserve care, rest, and support.

Let’s break the barriers and normalize mamas taking time off, without feeling guilty about it. It’s time to uplift and empower each other!

I mean outgrowing sizes, changing weather, messing up their clothes are just some of the reasons to buy more clothes.

But if I’m being truly honest, I don’t really need any reason to buy more clothes for Nishka other than the fact they are so cute! I can’t stop myself.
