The unprecedented novel COVID took the world by storm. The backbone of every nation’s economy was at sixes and seven. Quarantine and lock-down replaced matinee and touchdown. In the wake of the pandemic, the restaurants suffered a major impact; the country battled it out against the dangerous Covid-19 with all might. For over six months the Bay area of San Francisco has experienced an upheaval of law enforcement on the restaurants opening policies status. The shared spaces program launched by San Francisco was welcomed by all and sundry. In this program, restaurant owners can apply for free permits to extend their outside seating space including, parking lots & sidewalks.
From August 31 onwards, indoor dining has been allowed with 25% attendance. The new normal scenario has stuck with everyone. Let us take you to SF restaurants tour post lockdown and keep you abreast with 7 restaurants to watch out for as your lip tantalizes to devour on the junk food, various cuisines, slurp drinks, and nom-nom under the guidelines of health officials.

So here are the 7 Restaurants in San Francisco that are perfect for outdoor dining during COVID
The Dorian – Having a bad day? Or want to go out for that one drink after a long lockdown wait? One must not wait to visit The Dorian. There are significant choices of whiskeys and seasonal craft cocktails are the best in the town including, the soul binder “Dangerous Liaisons,” an upgraded margarita. This place also holds a whiskey Society thus making the place a must-visit. Not just the drinks but also the juicy oysters, devil eggs, truffle fries adds to the wide range of cocktails, while you enjoy your Thursday jazz live session. My favorite is their Frose, so make sure you get that. It’s yummy!
So, if you are planning to go out and dine post lockdown. The Dorian’s ensures outdoor seating arrangements and maintains social distancing. They are only allowing limited booking and serving time.
AL’s Place – This is a beautiful restaurant at the Mission District. They only offer Ingredient that is seasonally grown and distributed, making this place a blow of new air. The fresh splash of white and blue makes this place even more appealing from the outside. If you are somebody who loves to binge on some fresh food. They have a special menu including Steak Tartare, Pickled Kohlrabi, Black Mandarin, Horseradish, and much more. This is exactly the spot you have been looking for.
Keeping in mind the need of the hour, this place has also constructed these open glass cabinets to accommodate two people in each cabinet, maintaining social distancing and complete sanitation.
Foreign Cinema – Who doesn’t know about famous Foreign Cinema? Their evolved menus, champagne, and oysters on the half shell, all speak aloud about the vicinity and the culture of the place. Foreign Cinema’s services are considered to be one of the best in the town, winning multiple awards for the same.
Their recent message on their official website also gives a major assurance as they have recently opened their patio dining, avoiding too much of a crowd and maintaining safety.
Beretta – Since 2008, Beretta had stood to its true self. This is the only place in the town promoting the concept of being Dark, Sexy, and Evocative, with a pinch of their food menus, serving typical Italian food range. If you feel like having a fresh, organic, and seasonal menu, this is the place to look forward to.
Beretta made it safe by launching their sidewalk seating arrangements by placing barriers between tables. Even their amazing work creating semi-private booth seating is a special mention that one should keep in mind when looking to dine at this place.
Sushi Ondo – Japanese food with a Korean twist is the theme one should look forward to when visiting Sushi Ondo. If you are a sushi lover and don’t mind a full course menu, then their OMAKASE 7 course chef’s tasting menu by Jason Shimizu is a must-try.
They have recently arranged for an outdoor seating arrangement keeping in mind the current pandemic situation and caring about the social distancing.

Sushi Ondo is definitely one of my favorite outdoor places to dine in San Francisco during COVID.
Lers Ros – Lers Ros has set an example by serving healthy food, keeping intact the taste. Complete Thai menu with a wide range of wine, accompanying the perfect ambiance of the place. They have a chain of three restaurants in San Francisco. This has ensured a fair share of exotic flavor including, their Crab Roll Cake and Thai Curry Puff.
They have recently opened to all with their special measures through the pandemic.
Curio – If live music attracts you and calls you every time you plan to dine out, then this place is the best choice one can make. Curio arranges for live music Wednesday through Sunday. Brunch with the Citizen Jazz and enjoy that delicious meal of yours cracking through your veins.
Their new patio seating will take care of your pandemic essentials, making you dine a matter to remember.
