I have always loved outfits that have a pinch of ethnic designs on it. I do own quite a bit of Indian wear but rarely get to wear them. Hence it always excites me when I see traditional elements incorporated in western dresses. I recently received this gorgeous piece of outfit from Purple Tulsi to review, which was a dress but designed like a kurta. Since I haven’t done an ethnic post in a long time, I decided to share some pictures of this lovely outfit that I wore to lunch at my relatives place for some yum indian food. The fit was a bit loose but since I wore it on a casual lunch out, it worked. Meanwhile, I have sent it for alteration to get the perfect fit.
About the Outfit : A rich red and beige, tending towards golden dress made of georgette and inner of shantoon. The outfit can be worn as a dress or as a top with a palazzo or leggings beneath. It all depends on how you wear and style it. One key tip to keep in mind when you are wearing fusion outfits is to not go overboard with the accessories. Keep the focus on the outfit to bring out it’s beauty.
I chose to keep it simple and accessorise it with a pearl layer necklace, golden bracelet and red lipstick .
MY OUTFIT :
- Dress : Purple Tulsi
- Maroon bag : Street Wear
- Red Lipstick : Ruby Woo by Mac
We heart you,♥
