Today felt like trudging through mud despite a goo

Today felt like trudging through mud despite a good night's sleep. Honestly, I wasn't up for posting, but I realized this space is more than just laughs—it's about connecting with all of you who've given incredible love and support. So here are a few thoughts:

🌟 We had Kaushik's holiday bash—a chance to meet his work family. Juggling work within relationships is a balancing act, especially for couples with packed schedules. Kaushik and I always prioritize discussing any work hurdles that could affect our family time, supporting each other through these situations. (The first pic is of pre-party)

🙏 Gratitude overwhelms me for the village supporting us after Nishka's arrival. Our nanny and parents have been lifelines. Asking for help can feel like a hurdle, but even the smallest support makes a world of difference. Our nanny's now family, enabling Kaushik and me to snag a few alone hours or a date night!

🌸 Motherhood's constant challenge? Embracing the 'pause' button. Even in the midst of celebrations, my mind often lingers at home. Last Friday, I stepped out with girlfriends, and Kaushik, understanding my instinct to keep checking, turned off our camera. His intention was to free me from worries and let me soak in the moment—though incredibly sweet, it did stir a bit of separation anxiety about Nishka. It's this biological pull, where logic says 'all is well,' yet the heart wants constant reassurance that they're okay.

🕰️ Prioritizing has become my daily mantra. Managing two companies, Nishka, my health, and family time means saying 'no' more often. Time's a precious commodity; sometimes, embracing 'do-nothing' moments is the real luxury and I’ve started to become ok with doing nothing.

🌈 Remember, what we see online isn't always real life. Each holiday season paints a unique picture for everyone. So, let's be kind—always.

🤍 The last picture is of Kaushik and I post the party. We were actually laughing here because we realized that a decade ago, this would’ve be the time we’d be heading for a night out. But now, by 9-10 pm, we’re completely spent. Realities of parent life!
