Guest Bedroom Decor Refresh

See how we did up our guest bedroom decor refresh into a super cute blue and white themed room

So excited to finally share with you guys our guest bedroom refresh. The theme of our entire home is white, blue and accents of gold and Joss & Main had the perfect pieces. This refresh was in fact sponsored by them. Here is a previous blog article which details are inspiration pieces for the room.

This is how our room looked before, don’t judge, we had just moved in and put together whatever we could find in our boxes.

Some of the pieces we picked to give the room a cozy feel were:

– Bedding Set : we picked the Avon duet Set in Navy. I always love a crisp white palette and clean striped accents. The set comes with two pillow shams and matching duvet cover that is made with 100% cotton material and 300 single-ply threads. It’s such a luxurious feel for a very affordable price.

– Night Lamps : This was my absolute favorite piece. We were looking for lamps that had a gold touch to it so it could stand out. We also wanted lamps that had some height. Hence we picked the Costin 26″ Brass Ombre Lamps. I absolutely loved the ombre touch of these lamps. These gorgeous lamps come in 4 colors, each extremely beautiful and comes with a white linen drum shade that beautifully lights up the room.

– Accent Pillow : I wanted to blue accent pillows to match the blue theme and hence we chose the Edwards 12″ inch velvet pillow in navy blue. It came in set of two which was the perfect size for our queen size bed

– Throw Blanket : Ok, for anyone looking for a throw blanket… look no further. The Caston soft faux fur throw blanket is hands down the best velvet throw blanket I have had. It doesn’t shed, it’s super super soft and really warm. We got the navy blue one and I also picked up much later the same blanket in black for another room because it was so nice. I am literally hugging this blanket all the time. This color is currently out of stock but a good alternative is this faux fur blanket by Joss & Main’s partner site Wayfair. Faux fur white rug – We also got the white faux fur rug from Joss& Main as it went really well with the theme. This rug is out of stock as well but available on Wayfair.

We are slowly hoping to add more pieces from Joss & Main slowly to our room. One of the mirrors I have been eyeing is the Orion Wall Mirror It’s so gorgeous. You can also check out other pieces for home decor on their website directly.

Here are more pictures of our bedroom. We still have a few things left – e.g putting up the wall art and painting our bedroom wall but this room is already so cozy and amazing.
