I recently had a chance to collaborate with a super cool designer, Rajitha Prakruthi who is the founder of luxury fashion brand Trompe L’oeil. I usually don’t wear so many colors in one outfit or abstract prints but I was intrigued by Rajitha’s love of art and how she infuses them in her outfits. When I saw the designs, not only they were eclectic but so unique.
As Rajitha says, ” At Trompe L’oeil, we present a myriad of designs that depict the unique side/dimension of the person wearing them, a dimension that was waiting to be showcased. Each of our apparel is an expression of one’s inner-self. We create every design with an underlying concept that would reflect the inner dimensions and expressions of the people who wear them. “
Moreover, Tromp L’oeil not only believes in fashion but believes in fashion with a good cause. In collaboration with Devnar school for the blind in India, Trompe L’oeil encourages these kids with disability to explore their talent by creating platforms for them to exhibit their art through the brand by showcasing the kid’s prints on Tromp L’oeil’s T-shirts. A percentage of the monetary benefits through these sales is directed towards the education and wellbeing of these children. The designs are named after the respective child artists as well. Isn’t that cool!
I love the concept and social cause and hence decided to partner with Rajitha to showcase these outfits in my style and add my persona to it.
