Crop It Like It’s Hot

Before I go into my outfit details, a small thought of the day for everyone feeling uninspired for any reason- If there is one important thing I’ve learnt in my late twenties is that life stops for nothing and for no one.The only way to succeed is to accept this and keep moving.

I recently watched the movie ‘The Martian”  which was extremely inspiring and a total delight to watch. There is a quote from it which pretty much echoes my above learning, ” At some point, everything’s gonna go south on you and you’re going to say, this is it. This is how I end. Now you can either accept that, or you can get to work. That’s all it is. You just begin. You do the math. You solve one problem and you solve the next one, and then the next. And If you solve enough problems, you get to come home “

I have accepted it and somehow life seems a tad bit easier when you do so.

I was pretty much in this motivated, pondering, meditative train of thought when I did this shoot. Blue is my colour of thought. This outfit was for a casual soiree. Luckily it was a sunny day without the usual wind so I decided to put my crop top into use. It was aimed to be a bright monochrome look. I paired a cobalt blue crop top with a dark blue arabian pants. Went with a gold statement necklace, greenish-blue shades and a nude pair of pumps.

And of yes, my nail colour is tiffany blue.
