We’ve been missing travelling especially since K

We’ve been missing travelling especially since Kaushik and I usually do a couple of places every year but if I am being totally honest, we’ve actually been cherishing our time at home. ⁣
⁣
We’ve been spending a lot of quality moments doing things we love especiallysetting up our new home together. We’ve also been trying new dishes, reading books, getting back to Muay Thai and catching up on some amazing tv shows. ⁣
⁣
Some of the shows I would recommend are :⁣

Other chill shows if you haven’t caught up would be Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Brooklyn 911 and of course Selling sunset( my fav binge reality)

We’ve also been doing X-men, Iron man, Avengers marathons since both of us are Marvel & DC buffs. ⁣
⁣

⁣Ah the guest bedroom is finally coming together

⁣Ah the guest bedroom is finally coming together and I can’t wait to show you guys how it turned out. 👏🏻

We partnered and picked a lot of pieces from one of our favorite retailers @jossandmain .We are still waiting on the wall painting but once that arrives, I’ll definitely shoot a guest bedroom refresh video.

For those of you who were curious, our theme across the house is blue-white-grey with accents of gold. Karen from @havaainteriors of course was amazing in helping us pick the pieces. ⁣

The house is definitely taking a lot longer than we expected. With work and other stuff, I expect us to be done only end of the year or even more.⁣
⁣
How long did it take you guys to furnish and decorate your home before you were satisfied? Or does that never happen? 🙈

Can you believe we only have 3 more months to 2021! 🤔⁣

This year just flew by in a blink. As much as 2020 has been challenging in a lot of ways, it’s also made me extremely grateful and appreciative of the little things we have- our family, our health and our life. ⁣
⁣
Kaushik and I also bought our first home this year and that’ll always be so special to us. However we’ve really missed having our family over. We’ve never gone so long without seeing our parents so it’s been a little upsetting.

At the same time, we understand that their health is of utmost importance and we’d do anything to keep them and everyone healthy.
⁣
I always believe in finding that one bright spot amidst many dark tunnels. That’s my approach to work and life in general, no matter how hard things get.⁣
⁣
