This weekend, Kaushik and I decided to get away for a “conscious retreat” as we call it. 🧘🏽‍♀️ 📚 🏖

Even though we love being at home, there is always so many things to do that sometimes it’s hard to find time to do things that actually give us real joy.

So we booked a small place away from home and through the few days, we did eveything we loved - read, listen to podcasts, work on our business ideas, have conversations about eveything we both love, order in our favorite food, sleep more than 8 hours along with lots of cuddles in the sun( luckily the weather was fantastic) . ☀️

We barely watched tv or used our phones. I did log in for a bit to check and share a few updates but most of the time we were off the radar which gave us a lot of focussed time to work on our fav things.

We often used to do such getaways but this was a more intentional detox. Definitely one of the best weekends, Kaushik and I have managed to sneak in during the pandemic.

When’s the right time to take down your Christma

When’s the right time to take down your Christmas tree? 🎄

Kaushik says right after New Years! I however want to keep it up for longer? After all we need that extended cheer.

Jan 6th is also happens to be the day Kaushik proposed so I’m definitely keeping it till then. 💍

When are you guys planning to get your tree down?

I know this year has been tough on many and most of us haven’t seen our family, parents, friends for a very long time.

In fact, even for us, this is the first time in 5 years that Kaushik and I aren’t back home with our family for the December holidays - but we are trying to make the most of it.

What keeps us going is our love for each other, passion for what we do and hope for a better 2021!

So to love and hope! ♥️

We love our cocktails but when it comes to wine, we are planning to open our special @koblerestate Pinot this holiday season as it will go fantastically with the menu we have planned for Christmas. ( hint : Ravioli and chicken).
