“Fashion is what you’re offered four times a year by designers. And style is what you choose.” — Lauren Hutton
Spring Summer Fashion Week 2015 Ready to Wear just ended in Paris on Wednesday ( Oct 1,2014).It was colourful, creative and emotional as Jean Paul Gaultier showcased his ready to wear collection for the very last time.
Let us see the top trends that emerged for next summer through this show :
1.Yellow is the new orange
Last year orange was the new black. This time it seems to be the season for yellow.Lemonade, bikinis, sun, sand and sorbets. That is what yellow brings to our mind. This bright, pop and fruity colour was a pick amongst the crowd for many designers and why not , it is the perfect colour for summer.

2.Bring it on With a Blazer
The professional look is back and so is the blazer.Teem it up with a pencil skirt, fitting trousers, A-line Dress or even shorts.Blazers are versatile and add a smart dimension to your entire appearance.Contrasts seem to be doing well.So pair the blacks with the reds or the whites with the Royal blue and you are all set to go.

3.Say hello to Nude
The natural look seems to be in demand and what color can complement it other than beige or nude.It is normacore yet gives a very classy look. This elegant colour is the perfect evening wear when crusted with embellishments.Definitely my pick for the upcoming spring /summer season.

4.Black meets White
Who does not like the world of contrasts esp when it comes to black and white.Wear it at work or school or a picnic or to a party. This combination almost works everywhere.Last season we noticed a lot of pop colors, however black and white emerged favourites with many designers this year owning to the chic professional look making a comeback.Colour blocks and small prints were noted designs in this trend.
Teem it with a stylish hat, contrasting bright shoes, red lipstick or even a nude Birkin Bag.Get creative to make the black and white trend a bit more perky.

5. Those sassy Pants
Waist high pants which fitted well at the ankle seemed to be in high demand. In other words, high waist slim fits were a hot favourite with peplums and crops this season.

Some of my other favorite looks from the Paris Ready to Wear Fashion show are as below.Lots of fitted tops, flowy bottoms, cut out dresses, casual tees and florals were seen. These included my all time favourite Elie Saab who as always came up with amazing sheer styles and Mischka which incorporated beautiful pastel colours in its elegant ready to wear dresses.Blumarine had designs which looked fashionable yet seemed the kind that could be worn by just anybody and not just a celebrity :

This design is steller! You obviously know how to keep a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Fantastic job. I really loved what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it. Too cool!
