5 Must Have(s) In your Make Up Bag

Most of us are not make up experts but yet we wish, that we knew the basics to at least make us look better than better when we go out. It took me more than a year to figure out what cosmetic suits me the most and I can confidently say I am still learning. A lot of my learning goes to the various make up artists I meet during my shoots. Today I will share  the 5 must have yet easy products that you can use to glam yourself up.

1.Foundation: No one wants to look as if they have a kilo of make up on their face but it is definitely important to put a light foundation before you go out. It helps to cover the blemishes and highlight the features. I usually do not have time to go through the whole foundation putting routine so I opt for the MAC Studio Fix (foundation + compact). For the daytime look, just use the compact as it is. For night time and a deeper layer, wet the compact and then apply.It will look no less than a proper foundation.

2.Eyebrow filler– Many of us underestimate the importance of the eyebrow. A well-shaped dark eyebrow can change how you look. People with thick but light eyebrow can just use simple filler like that of Urban Decay or Bobbi brown dark brow kit. People with thin eyebrow may need to opt for both a pencil and a filler. I would suggest Lancôme Le Crayon Poudre or Clinique Dark Brown eyebrow pencil as liners. If you have slightly thicker eyebrow and need a pencil, you can opt for a Shu Uemura hard brow pencil though it is a tad more expensive than the usual brands .Use the pencil to fill in the gaps with short strokes in the direction of hair growth. Then fill it in with brow filler. This should help you define your eyebrows.

3.Red Lipstick- This is a must have for every girl. Often I find girls admiring others wearing red lipstick but not having the courage to wear one themselves. Often they think it might make them look loud or slutty. Not true.You have to try it to become comfortable with it. Nothing is sexier than a girl in red lipstick. My favorite no doubt is Ruby woo by Mac ( Rihanna liked it so much she brought it under her line as Riri woo)

4.Eyeliner : Often people ask me what I use to highlight my eyes since I do it on a daily basis. My only answer is Mac Technakohl liner as you can use it both as a kohl and an eyeliner. There is no need to sharpen it as it is a rotating pencil. If you are looking for a regular dark kohl. You can you can opt for Make up forever kohl pencil

5.Lotion/Moisturizer: It is extremely important for a girl to carry a small tube of body lotion. You are wearing a gorgeous dress or a short LBD.But if you have cracked elbows,scaly knee or even dry nose, it will take away the beauty. Opt for a handy lotion with fragrance so you can smell good as well. Recommendation: Miss Dior Cherie or any Body shop product.
