There are some products to make you beautiful but there are some which you just can’t live without.I have my personal must have’s in my beauty closet which I make sure is well stocked.
1.Tree Tea Oil :
This is a very recent discovery.I travel quite often.Weather in every city keeps changing thus leaving my scalp quite dry.Since I did not want to resort to chemicals, my salon lady recommended me the wondrous tree tea oil.Tea tree oil is derived from the leaves of the tea tree.The chemicals in tea tree oil is known to be great to kill bacteria and fungus, and reduce allergic skin reactions.Apply a bit to your scalp for half an hour just as you would apply coconut or olive oil and then wash it off.You can even mix it to your shampoo and apply while washing.Use it for a week on alternate days and see the effect.
Tree Tea oil can also be used to reduce acne, treat dry skin on any part of your body or to cure toenail infections.It is a natural healer.
2.Aloe vera Gel :
Just as Tree Tea oil is great for the skin and scalp, aloe vera is amazing for the face.Apply aloe very gel after washing your face with cold water every night before you sleep.You will surely notice a glow on your face within a month.Aloe Vera also helps to reduce pimples, wounds and scars.
3.Roll On Kohl/eyeliner :
If I had to pick just one cosmetic to keep in my bag, it would definitely be a kohl.Many brands like Revlon,Maybelline,Mac ,etc have roll on Kohls and eyeliners that you can easily apply.Defining your eye is the best combat against looking sleepy and tired and makes a huge difference to how you look.
4.Eyebrow kit- razor, tweezer,eyebrow pencil/filler :
Sometimes I find myself extremely lazy or running short of time to go to the brow house to get my eyebrows done.For such emergency cases I always keep my eyebrow kit ready which contains a razor, tweezer and an eyebrow pencil or filler.Use a tweezer to pluck out extra hair.For those that are hard to pull using a tweezer, shave it off with an eyebrow razor which is a small razor designed especially for the eyebrow.Draw your eyebrow neatly then with an eyebrow liner and fill it with a filler to compensate for any uneven tweezing.Please note, I do not advise this often, as tweezing leads to ingrown hair but this is great to keep in handy for last minute calls.
5.Vaseline :
There may be many balms and gels for the lips in the market but vaseline is the ultimate.Either use the original vaseline or the lip balm designed for easy carry.Petroleum jelly makes your lip skin supple and smooth.Use it rather than biting the dry skin of your lips which is the worst habit you can have.Vaseline is the top brand among all lip balms.
6.Concealer :
Whether or not you use foundation , it is good to have a concealer.Concealers are small and easy to carry .They work wonders to cover dark circles, pimples or scars.Apply a bit to the affected area and smudge it to even it out and match the surrounding skin colour.My personal favourite is the Mac concealer.As per reviews, Maybelline or Origins is also great for concealer products.
