THE DIVAS : (Best Dressed)

Salma Hayek in a Saint Laurent  :

The hot pink Saint Laurent dress brings out Salma Hayek’s skin tone perfectly well. She has kept her makeup and accessories simple which works great with the bright colour of her dress.

Aishwarya Rai in a Roberto Cavalli :

Aishwarya Rai seems to be back with a bang. Her red lipstick adds glamour to the already glamorous gold dress by Roberto Cavalli. The fishtail dress fits her current figure giving her a flawless look.

Sonam Kapoor in an Anamika Khanna:

Sonam Kapoor never fails to impress when it comes to the fashion scene. Her style is not almost perfect but perfect each time. She shines in an Anamika Khanna’s embroidered indian couture which has been stylised well with high heels and a matching choker.

She completely reverses her indian look to a very retro feel at the Houseman’s premier in a black embellished Elie Saab gown paired with Chopard jewellery.Once again she impresses.

Blake Lively in a Gucci :

Blake Lively stole the red carpet with her back to back perfectly fitted Gucci gowns. We can’t help but mention how we love the cut of her black and white colour block couture .

Eva Green in an Elie Saab :

Elie Saab does it again. We have always loved Elie Saab’s gowns and it cannot get any better when Artemisia wears it herself giving her a very middle eastern royal look.We love the colour and we love the embellishments on it.

Izabel Goulart in an Elie Saab :

The pink is what catches our eyes.Soft,pastel,sensuous- suits the Victoria Secret’s model personality perfectly. She pairs it up with matching pumps.

Lara Stone in a Calvin Klein :

Calvin Klein can either make you or break you when it comes to its fitting.Only with a figure like Lara Stone can you pull of this hot pink number. We love the cut at the neck.

Jessica Chastain in an Elie Saab :

Can any Elie Saab gown not look good.Jessica Chastain of Zero Dark thirty fame look ethereal in this purple number. The silver heels contrasts perfectly well with it.It gives her a very greek goddess look except in purple rather than in white.

Kristen Stewart in a Chanel :

Kristen Stewart chose what looked like a Chanel contemporary trousseau. It was different and hence stood out amongst the various gowns.Note her beautiful bracelet with it.

Frieda Pinto in a Oscar de la Renta :

Frieda look fabulously ethnic. The strawberry red colour gown and tightly tied back hair beautifies her skin tone and facial features to her best.

Sonia Rolland in a Zuhair Murad:

Zuhair Murad is another of our favourite couture brands. We love the cut of the dress on the chest and the colour. The french actress looks exquisite in this wine red piece.

Liu Wen in an Elie Saab:

The first model of East Asian descent to walk the Victoria Secret Fashion show looks very soft and sweet in this light blue gown. She pairs it up well with a matching Chopard neckpiece.

Dita Von Teese in a BluMarine:

Dita brings the boudoir back in fashion. She looks dark, seductive and extremely bold in this black floral dress. We love the design of her clutch and her hairstyle.Very boudoir again.

The Downers ( Worst):

Sharon Stone in a Roberto Cavalli:

This dress does nothing good for the otherwise beautiful Sharon Stone. It makes her hips look bigger than they are and the hip band just doesn’t cut well.It looks quite sloppy for a graceful person like Sharon Stone.

Irina Shayk in a Versace

Otherwise impeccably dressed and gorgeous Irina, we don’t know what she was thinking here. The colour, cut and design just does not work well.We don’t like anything about the dress except for the person wearing it.

Frieda Pinto in a Michael Kors:

As much as we liked Frieda’s pink dress at the Homesman premiere, we did not dig her outfit at the premier of Saint Laurent. It looks like a rug from the bottom and the colour is very dull for her.We love the red lips nevertheless.

Chloe Grace Moretz in a Chanel :

Grace Moretz  looks like a sailor. It may be cute but not for a glamourous red carpet event. We think the Kick-ass actress might have looked better in this outfit if she had chucked the hat and donned a sleek tied back ponytail with red lipstick.

Christina Hendricks in an Alberta Ferretti:

The Alberta Ferretti Fall 2013 dress does not suit Christina at all.We especially hate the flared arms. The colour is nice but we just don’t like the dress.

Elena Lenina :

Elena Lenina dumbfounds us again. We have no idea what she is wearing and where it is from.Is she trying to be a fairy god mother or a christmas party entertainer? We don’t know, but the Russian TV Star definitely steals the title of the most outlandish dressed personality.

Eva Longoria in a Vionnet Fall 2014 :

Eva Longoria is a beautiful woman. Her make up is flawless and goes very well with the nude colour of the dress. But the dress – is weird. It has a weird cut from the bottom and a weird cut at the chest.Yes weird is the word.

Julianne Moore in a Louis Vuitton/Chanel :

Julianne Moore chooses two wrong dresses back to back. The leather look doesn’t suit her and the feathery Chanel outfit looks too messy from the bottom. Moreover the burgundy leather top with the monochrome bias cut skirt is quite a bad combination.A golden or black top with that skirt would have looked much better. We prefer her trailer look as Alma Coin in Hunger Games.
